Middle Aged and Listening 2 Music

I went to the Reading Festival over the weekend and saw some great acts that I knew already and a few I had never heard of. Going to the festival reminded me that it’s important to try something a bit different; going outside of your usual listening circle. I saw these two rappers called “Newham Generals” in the 1 Xtra tent and they were pretty awesome and thought I must try something different.

So inspired by this, I bought an album I’ve had my eye on for a while called “Some Say I So I Say Light” by Ghostpoet. I’d only heard one track of his on the Zane Lowe Radio 1 show last year but it had stuck in my head. I think he classifies himself as a producer/rapper.

But whatever the genre this is awesome. I find this album so different from other stuff I’ve heard. Now…
